Preworks included WPQR development, WPS and Welder Qualification. This was completed prior to commencement of the major shutdown outage.

iScope were responsible for developing the required WPS and engaged to qualify all welders that were planned to work on the project on site – all which were completed prior to the commencement of the planned shutdown outage.

During this major project, iScope were engaged for their expertise to inspect all welding activities completed on the TLO to ensure structural integrity remained intact.

Preworks included site inspection, the development of a structural repair procedure, supply of detailed fabrication drawings, supply of required material/parts. Shutdown ran for 7 days, 14 shifts in total.

iScope were engaged to scope the repairs to this 996 Excavator’s Carbody & Stick. iScope supplied a detailed repair procedure, detailed drawings and materials/parts required to complete the repair.

Site Supervision was managed by iScope throughout the entire repair process which ran for 7 days, 14 shifts in total. The supplied repair procedure included Work Order Specifications, relevant WPS’s and Welding QA documentation.
